This is a Chevrolet. This is when you had to really have some guts to go racing. Unlike all of the safety features that we are used to in today's modern race cars, these were get in,sit down, shut up, and hang on. They didn't know any better, they just got in and did it. This car did some off road racing in the 40's and 50's. So this fit and finish on this one is going to be more like a race car of the day. The red paint on this car is nice, but again this was a race car so don't expect shiny perfect paint. This car has patina and history. Everything looks just the way it should for a vintage race car. Under the hood of this machine sits the 194 Cu In straight 6 that has been upgraded with 2 carbs, and a great sounding exhaust system. This is mated to a 3 speed transmission that goes through the gears very nicely. True miles are unknown, but we have been told that there are about 10,000 miles on this motor. The interior has everything that you need for you and your engineer to see what is going on with your ride. The bucket seats with head rests keep you locked in while you are whipping this thing around. You have a rear mounted spare tire, wire wheels, great size trunk, and head lights and brakes for safety. We just can not say enough how cool this car is, and how much fun your are going to have driving it. Whether you just do parades, cruise ins, or go vintage racing, this car is going to get a ton of attention.
